Welcome, welcome. I'm so happy you are here. I am Kendra, and I'm just a girl with a camera trying to figure out what I want to be when I grow up.

I married my after-high-school sweetheart Mark, and together we introduced the world to now 10-year-old Andrew and 8-year-old Creed. We live in Texas with our chocolate lab puppy Jovie. I owe all that I am and all that I have to my Savior, Jesus Christ. I am a fan of traveling, the Enneagram, chips + queso, and good grammar. I believe in celebrating the little things and in the power of documenting life.

Having battled depression for too many years, my love affair with photography has been like therapy. My heart of worship, my song of praise. A visual gratitude journal. My love language. Photos say You are here. You are alive. You are important and valued and loved. You matter. Camera in hand, I have discovered God and love and beauty in unbelievable places and circumstances. Photography to me is so much more than a hobby. It's -- cue the soft music -- a way of life.

I arise torn between a desire to improve the world and a desire to enjoy the world. This makes it hard to plan the day.
