I've been taking pictures of Case & Catie for 7 years (and their family pictures for 4 years). I love seeing kids grow up in front of my camera! Case is a typical 10-year-old boy who pretty much never wants anything to do with me or my camera. I tease him every year that he doesn't cooperate because he wants to drag out the session and spend more time with me. He'll love it this year because we actually split this session into 2 due to their dad's work schedule. Who wants to break it to him?!
I feel like this session deserves to be celebrated, though. When I was backing up the files, I realized this was my 100th session. I had no idea what God had planned when he put a camera in my hand -- I still don't! My business was short-lived but taught me so much about myself and others. I'm forever grateful for my clients-turned-friends who gave me a chance and rallied behind this adventure of mine. I've grown a lot as a photographer in 100 sessions but still have a long way to go, so here's to the next 100!
Check back in a couple of weeks for Round 2 with the whole family.
